Hi, I’m Broke-Ass Stuart.

As you read yesterday, the folks at Next in SF have retired and you’ve become part of my flock. And let me tell you, that is awesome! Let me explain:

I’ve Basically Got a PhD in San Francisco

I’ve been writing about what’s happening in SF for over 20 years! What stared as a zine in 2004 became a series of Broke-Ass Stuart books, a TV show, and of course the infamous website BrokeAssStuart.com. I also ran for mayor of San Francisco along the way.

All through that time my team and I have been delivering people the best of what’s happening in the Bay Area, and now my friend, you are part of that very special group.

What to Expect

I don’t want to bore you with a long email so let me just tell you that we send out 2 emails a week:
